Betty Ann "Bib" (Dale) Southern, age 70 of Ellijay, GA passed on Tuesday, February 8, 2022. Betty Ann was born August 20, 1951, in Ellijay, GA to her late parents Jesse Perry and Nena Belle (Gibson) Dale. Betty Ann was a member of the Flat Branch Baptist Church and retired from Robert Shaw. Although she had no children of her own she was like a mother to so many the most caring Godly woman. Betty Ann is preceded in death by her sister Shirley Dale Bailey. Survivors include her husband of 49 years George Ermel Southern, Ellijay, GA, brothers Jimmy Dale, Ellijay, GA, Ronnie & Ernestine Dale, Ellijay, GA, Sammy Dale, Ellijay, GA, Jesse Dale, Ellijay, GA, sisters Earlene and Jerry Millsaps, Ellijay, GA, Connie Dale Nazerian, Ellijay, GA, Hilda and Troy McDaris, Ellijay, GA, several nieces and nephews Angela Dale, Lynn Millsaps Harbour, Amy Bailey, Justin McDaris, Kennon Nazerian, great nephews Colby Newton and Cooper Hensley, great nieces Bristal Harbour, great great niece Audrey Belle Newton. Family will receive friends Friday, February 11, 2022, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 12, 2022, at 3:00 pm at the Logan Funeral Home & Chapel with Rev. Tony Withrow, Rev. Daniel Reece, and Rev. Franklin Harper officiating. Interment will follow in the Flat Branch Baptist Church Cemetery with Justin McDaris, Kennon Nazerian, Colby Newton, Randall Thurman, Winston Cantrell, Lowell Davis, Robbie Harbour, and Cooper Hensley serving as pallbearers.
