Bertha Mae Dale Davidson, of Ellijay, Ga was born on June 20th1942, to the late John W. and

Ora M. Holifield. Held closely by her daughters she passed from this life and went home on

August 20th, 2024.

She is proceeded in death by spouses J.T. Dale and Dwight Davidson, Brothers Tom, Paul,

David, William and Bobby Hollifield, and Sister Pearl Wheeler.

Survivors include, Daughters Brenda (Tony) Simmons of Jasper, Ga. and Dixie (Mitchell)

Stanley, Grandson and light of her life Thomas Barker, of Ellijay.

Sister Ruby (Morris) Miles and special niece Kathy (Pat) Shelton, along with many other

family members of Ellijay also survive.

A loving mother, grandmother, sibling and friend, Bertha loved being the caretaker, she

always put everyone else first and always tried to take care of everyone, whether it be

family members, coworkers or neighbors, she had a heart for people and always believed

the best in everyone. She loved spending time with family and attending church and was a

proud member of Harvest Missionary Church.

A Visitation and Memorial Service in her honor will be held on Saturday August 31st, 2024 at

Harvest Missionary Church /Clear Creek Rd.

Family will meet with friends and family from 3.30pm – 5.00pm. The Memorial Service will

begin at 5.00pm with Pastor Glenn Arnold officiating and music provided by Harvest

Missionary Praise Team.
