Beatrice Eva Yeakey Baker, age 88 of Ellijay, passed on March 1, 2021. She was born on August 23, 1932 in Coldwater, MI. She was a member of Bowman Hills Church, Cleveland, TN. Beatrice graduated from high school in 1980 and was employed at Walmart. She is preceded in death by her mother Elizabeth Yeakey and her husband, Lawrence Akin Baker. A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at the Sunlight Baptist Church Cemetery, Ellijay, GA., with Rev. Steve Kilbourne officiating. Beatrice is survived by sons; Donald (Brenda) Baker, Ellijay, GA., John Larry (Darlene) Baker, Cleveland, TN., daughters; Eva Methias, OK., Mary Elizabeth (Scott) Patterson, Cleveland, TN., five grandchildren, three great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
