Ms. Barbara Theresa Todd Spivey, age 82 of Ellijay, Georgia passed on Monday morning, November 16, 2015, at the Pruitt Healthcare of Ft. Oglethorpe. Mrs. Spivey was born December 25th, 1932 in Port Wentworth, Georgia to her late parents Charles Dewey and Odessa Edith Gray Todd. Barbara was a self taught pianist and never met a stranger. She is preceded in death by her husband Gene Spivey. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Christy and Michael Williams of Ellijay, GA, Pamela Lorentzson of Buford, GA, and Susan and David Thiessen of Dacula, GA; Grandchildren, Tejae, Joshua, and Jonathan Miller, Lauren and Gabriel Lorentzson, Christopher, Joseph, and Jacob Thiessen; Five Great grandchildren; brother, Carl Todd of Tampa, FL also survives. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 2nd, 2015 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with the Dr. Robert Leftwich officiating. Graveside inurnment will follow in the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA at 2pm on Wednesday, December 2nd, 2015. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at the Logan Funeral Home.
