Audrey Victoria (Garland) Gartrell, age 90 of Ellijay, GA passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023. Audrey was born February 21, 1933, in Whitestone, GA to the late Clifford and Ermia Cleo (Coffey) Garland. Audrey was a member of the Whitestone Baptist Church for over 70 years. She was also a member of the Eastern Star Lodge 340 and was an Assistant Mail Clerk at the Whitestone Post Office. Audrey is preceded in death by her husband Mayor of Ellijay Henry C. Gartrell, and daughter Teresa Odell Gartrell.

Audrey is survived by her nieces Valerie Holbrook, Lisa Anita and Scott Espelin, Butte, MT, Mary Gartrell Jones, Jasper, GA, Linda Gale McEver, Tampa, FL, and nephew Tony A. Garland, White, GA. Tim Gartrell, Jasper, GA, and several family and friends survive.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 29, 2023, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. The Funeral service will be held on Monday, October 30, 2023, at 2 p.m. at the Whitestone Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Johnson, Rev. Bryon Tillery, and Rev. Daniel Reece officiating.
