Arzinas "Art" Sisson, age 90 of Ellijay, GA passed on Thursday, April 29, 2021. He was born April 23, 1931 in Ellijay, GA to his late parents Charlie Frank and Stella Lea (Willis) Sisson. Art was of the Baptist faith and retired as a surveyor from Zeigler & Associates Land Surveying Company. Art is preceded in death by his sons Gary Harold Sisson and Randy Dellwood, sister Lilly Moe Bennett, brothers Charles Sisson, J.D. Sisson, C.S. Sisson, James Sisson, Wayne Sisson, Calvin Sisson, and many nieces and nephews. Survivors include son Danny Art and Anita Lea Sisson, Ellijay, GA, sisters Mary Alice Jones, Ellijay, GA, Jeanette and Johnny Hill, Ellijay, GA, brother Alvin Sission, Ellijay, GA, five grandchildren, nineteen great great-grandchildren, eight great great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, May 3, 2021 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held Monday, May 3, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clyde Jones and Rev. Johnny Grizzle and the North Georgia Honor Guard officiating. Interment will follow in the Ballew Cemetery. Flowers are being accepted.
