Mrs. Ann H. Head, age 92, of Ellijay, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2026.

Mrs. Head was born on April 14, 1934, in Cartersville, Georgia, to the late William Garfield and Gertrude Hunt Harvey. She worked for many years as an Executive Secretary with Americo. Ann was an avid traveler of the Blue Ridge Mountains; an amateur photographer, and loved old covered bridges. She was especially known for her famous homemade fudge, which was enjoyed by family and friends throughout the years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Harvey Futral, and sister-in-law, Beverly Head Moore.

Survivors include her loving husband, Charles Edwin Head of Ellijay; daughters LaCretia L. Head and Peggy E. Head Donaldson; grandchildren Holly LeCroy Anderson, Rachael Alton LeCroy, Erik Hunt LeCroy, Joshua Seth Holcomb, and Israel Dane Holcomb; sister Nora Francis Williams; brother-in-law Joe Frank Head; and sister-in-law Debbie Ann Head.

A memorial gathering will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at Logan Funeral Home.
