William Andrew Gooch, age 19, of Cherry Log, GA, passed on Tuesday, July 27, 2021. He was born May 26, 2002, to his parents William Anthony and Dawn Elizabeth (Rice) Gooch. Andrew was a graduate of Gilmer High School Class of 2020, worked as a launch technician for Blue Ridge Boat Rentals and a member of the Boardtown Church of Christ. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, David Lanier Rice and grandparents Robert Fleming Rice and Joyce Rice Taylor. Survivors include: father and mother, William Anthony and Dawn Gooch, Cherry Log, GA; sister and brother-in-law Elizabeth Gooch and Dustin Cooper, Canton, GA; fiancé Skylar Wright, Mineral Bluff, GA; grandparents William Daniel and Marie Kyle Gooch, Kennesaw, GA, Charlette Washer Rice, Chatsworth, GA, uncle and aunts, Jeff and Katie Rice, Atlanta, GA; Dana and Jeff Payne, Cherry Log, GA, Ellen and Barry Payne, Woodstock, GA, and several cousins survive. Visitation will be held Friday, August 6, 2021, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Logan Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, August 7, 2021, at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Min. Matt Amos and Min. Cody Bearden officiating.
