Nancy Adele (Waddell)Hensley, age 90 Ellijay, GA passed on Friday, May 27, 2022. Adele was born June 12, 1931, in Ellijay, GA to her late parents Henry Cornelius and Ollie Ann (Adams) Waddell. Adele worked at Dr. Schnieders's office as the medical office assistant. Adele was also a member of the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. Adele is preceded in death by her husband James B. Hensley. Survivors include two sons and daughter-in-laws Eddy and Kathy Hensley, Ellijay, GA, and Jerry and Debbie Hensley, Ellijay, GA, four grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends Monday, June 6, 2022, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held Monday, June 6, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with Rev. Jamie Dotson and Rev. Bryan Hensley officiating. Nathan Hensley, Bryson Hensley, David Hensley, Joseph Hensley, Tim Mosley, Britt Taylor, J.D. Taylor, Zeke Hensley-Williams, and Baylor Hensley-Williams are serving as pallbearers. The family would like to give a special thanks to Compassus Hospice for taking such great care of Adele.
