Mr. Willie "Will" Curtis Jones age 76, of South Jones Mill Road, Ellijay, GA passed from this life on Monday January 11th, 2010 at the Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in Jasper, GA. Mr. Jones was born March 17th, 1933 to his late parents Clinton and Arte Mae Ash Jones in Ellijay, GA. Mr. Jones was a sawmiller in the lumber business. Survivors include wife of 37 years Rebecca McVey Jones of the home in Ellijay, sons and daughters in law Donnie and Sheila Dunn of Dalton, GA,, Clinton and JoAnn Jones of Ellijay, GA , grandchildren Mitzi, Tonya, Melissa, Kristy, Brandy,Craig and 11 great-grandchildren, sister Minnie Jones Stillwell of Ellijay, GA, brother and sister in law, Eugene and Imogene Jones of Ellijay, GA and sister in law Mary Alice Sisson Jones of Ellijay, GA. Mr. Jones is preceded in death by his sister Ruthelle "Coot" Jones and brother Jack Jones. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 13th, 2010 from the Salem Baptist Church with Rev. Glen Arnold, Rev. Brian Hensley, Rev. Sam May and Rev. Clifford Nelson officiating, music will be provided by the Laren McVey Family and Barry Abernathy, with graveside service following in the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers are William Jones, George Jones, Clyde Jones, Wayne Jones, TomJones, Donnie Stillwell, Billy Stillwell, Larry Wishon and honorary pallbearers are Ott Hayles, Cliff Manhiney, Larry Dalrymple, Ronald Knight and Brandon McVey.
