Mr. William Jerrel Garland, age 72 of Ellijay, GA., passed from this life on Sunday, June 26th, 2011 from his residence. He was a member of the Baptist Faith, born January 26th, 1939 to his late parents William Worth Garland and Jessie Lela Tatum Garland in Ellijay, Whitestone, Georgia. Mr. Garland was employed at CKS Plastics. In lieu of flowers family requests donations be made to the William Garland Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 485, Ellijay, Georgia 30540. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-laws Darlene and Mark Combs of Marietta, GA., Sonya and Joseph White of Fountain, CO.; sons and daughters-in-law Darrell and Tammy Garland of Ft. Payne, AL, Dwayne and Christy Garland of Breman, GA., Jamie and Christy Garland of Villa Rica, GA., Michael and Shelly Garland of Blue Ridge, GA.; twelve grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law Louise Garland McReynolds of Calhoun, GA., Wylene Garland Wilkie of Jasper, GA., Diane and Keith Hales of Jasper, GA.; brothers and sister-in-law Earl and Evelyn Garland of Jasper, GA., Eugene Garland of Talking Rock, GA. Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 2nd, 2011 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wallace Parks and Rev. Coy Richards officiating.
