Mrs. Virginia "Ginny" Pinson Stolz age 74 of the Old Tails Creek Community passed from this life on Wednesday, December 22nd, 2010 from the Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN. Born August 12th, 1936 in Canton, GA., to her late parents Herman Edward and Ruby Henderson Pinson. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Ellijay, a Gilmer High School cheerleader and graduate, class of 1954, a graduate of the University of GA., where she was Honorary Court Judge, and State President of the F.H.A. Mrs. Stolz served as Mrs. Georgia Peach. She worked at the Gilmer County Library and was receptionist for Quick Shot Veterinary Office. Survivors include husband of 52 years, Dr. Hal Stolz of the home in Ellijay, sons and daughters-in-law Fisher and Edye Stolz of Washington, IL., Ed and Angie Stolz of Ellijay, GA., grandchildren, Ashlyn, Zack, Hank, Caroline, Levi, Alex, Jackson, Jacob, Matt and Luke Stolz. Memorial Service will be 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 28th, 2010 at The First United Methodist Church of Ellijay with Rev. Sharon Watkins and Rev. Danny Barton officiating. Music will be performed by Charlie Bryant and the church choir.
