Ruby Martha Abercrombie Presley born January 16th, 1932 in Bartow County, GA., departed this world Friday, December 16th, 2011. She lived her younger years in Ellijay, GA and resided in Peachtree City, GA. Mrs. Presley is survived by devoted husband of 55 years John Robert Presley and adoring sons Don Richard Edwards and Raymond Edwin Presley. She also leaves behind her beloved older sister Polly L. Pulliam and younger brother Delmer E. Abercrombie; grandchildren Marc Shane Edwards, Jennifer Leigh Pierce and Brittney Renae Presley; sister-in-law Norma C. Brock; four great grandchildren; four nieces and three nephews. She was best known for her beaming smile, fighting spirit, and the whole hearted love of her family. Her favorite time was enjoying her last 17 years with her loving husband (Bob) and the closeness of her two sons. She was a member of Mount Pisgah Baptist Church, Ellijay, GA., and also regularly attended North New Hope Baptist Church in Fayetteville, GA. She was a 1960 graduate of Brown High School in Atlanta, GA. Family will receive friends at Logan Funeral Home and Chapel, Ellijay, GA. from 4 until 9 p.m. on Saturday, December 17th, 2011. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 18th, 2011 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wallace Parks officiating. Graveside interment service will take place at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City, GA, at 2 p.m. on Monday, December 19th, 2011.
