Mr. Nicholas "Nick" Seth McAllister, age 18 of Ellijay, Georgia passed on Monday evening, October 5, 2015. Nick was born December 30, 1996 in Palmetto, Georgia. He was a graduate of Gilmer High School, Class of 2015, where he was a member of the drama club, chorus and chess team. Nick is survived by his parents, Paul and Charli McAllister of Ellijay, GA; Brother, Tracy Shane McAllister of Phoenix, AZ; Grandparents, Fred and Dotti Fite of Ellijay, GA, Mary M. McAllister of Tallahassee, FL, and Charlie and Sallie Collins of Darien, GA; Great grandparents, Lucy and Doyle Smith of Brunswick, GA; Aunts and Uncles, Victor J. McAllister of Vallejo, CA, Helen McAllister Tews of Knoxville, TN, Pat and Randy Desilet of Tallahassee, FL, Charlie and Bonnie McAllister of Gray, GA and Grace McCallister of Madison, GA. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, October 9th, 2015 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sharon Watkins officiating. Music will be by Morgan Painter and Sarah Harbin. Family will receive friends from 3pm until the service hour on Friday, October 9th, 2015 at the Logan Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Gilmer High Drama Club, 408 Bobcat Trail, Ellijay, GA 30540 in memory of Nick. At 7pm Friday evening, October 9th, 2015 in the Gilmer High School Auditorium, the Gilmer High School Drama Club will present their fall production, "Title of Show" in memory of Nick. Everyone is invited to attend and honor Nick's life and memory, and admission will be free.
