Mr. Jessie G. Gibson, age 72 of Crandal Way Dalton, GA who passed on Sunday August 15th, 2010. Born July 19th, 1938 to his late parents Lonzo Jesse and Addie Katherine Ethridge Gibson in Calhoun, Ga. Mr. Gibson was a member of Flat Branch Baptist Church. He was self employed in the textile industry. He is survived by his Daughters, Laura Jean Hall of Dalton, GA, Anita S. Drennon of Varnell, GA., Sarah Lynn Gibson of Rocky Face, GA; Grandchildren, Jennifer Snyder, Joshua Hall, Alex Drennon, Great grandchildren Lilly, Emma and Kate Snyder Sisters, Lonnie Bell Holt of Ellijay, Betty Jean Kay of Chatsworth, GA: Brothers, Max Gibson of Ellijay, Ga and James Gibson of Chatsworth, Ga.; Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am Thursday August 19th, 2010 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Franklin Harper officiating. Mrs. Martha Harper will provide music and singing. Interment will follow in the Flat Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 5:00pm on Wednesday August 18th, 2010 at the Logan Funeral Home. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Jessie Gibson Memorial fund in care of the C&S Bank at P.O. Box G Ellijay, GA 30540 in memory of Mr. Gibson.
