Catherine Anne May, age 42, of the Pleasant Grove Community, Ellijay, passed on Friday, October 18, 2013, at her residence. Catherine was born April 15, 1971 in Monterey, California. She graduated Arch Bishop Mitty High School in 1989 and received her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Phoenix in 2009. She was a member of the Little Baptist Church and former business manager for the Gilmer Nursing Home. Survivors are Husband of 20 years, Rev. Samuel May of the home in Ellijay, sons, Caleb May and Grant May, daughters, Catrina May and Sarina May all of Ellijay, GA, parents, Romel and Maria Donguines Pingue of San Jose, CA, brother, Michael Pingue of San Jose, CA. Father-in-law and Mother-in-law, Newell and Alice May, Sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Kim and William "Squeek" Jones, Trina May and special friend Michael Davis, Cristy and Rev. Bryan Hensley and Kenny Findley all of Ellijay. A Funeral service will be at 3:00 PM on Monday October 21st, 2013 at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with the Rev. Tim Ballew, Rev. Greg Hamilton, Rev. Russell Burt and Rev. Bryan Hensley officiating. Graveside Interment will follow in Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Saturday, October 19, 2013, at Logan Funeral Home.
