Brenda Sue Worley Long age 61, of Old CC Camp Road, Ellijay, GA., passed from this life on Wednesday, February 24th, 2010 from the Hamilton Medical Center in Dalton, GA. Born April 26th, 1948 to her late parents William Martin and Bernice Idell Boatner Worley in Ellijay, GA. Mrs. Long is survived by husband of 23 years, Larry Long of the home in Ellijay, GA., daughters and sons-in-law Debbie and Johnny Meridith of Blue Ridge, GA., Connie and Woody Stuck, Mandy and Mark Priest of Chatsworth, GA., and Misty Dawn Long of Dalton, GA., son, Leon Beavers of Ellijay, GA., thirteen grandchildren, one great-grandchild and sister Frankie Cochran of Ellijay, GA. Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 27th, 2010 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dennis Jones, Rev. Steve O'Neal and Rev. Roy Scott officiating, singing by Gospel Joy Makers. Graveside services will follow in the Logan Funeral Home Chapel and interment in the Flat Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robert Burke, Mason Beavers, Nolan Webster, Keith Long, Kenneth Long and Daniel Long. Family will receive friends beginning at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, February 25th and 5:00 p.m. Friday, February 26th at Logan Funeral Home.
