Mrs. Bonnie Reatha Hamlin age 85, of Village Park Drive, Ellijay, GA, passed on Saturday, November 21st at her residence. A member of the Methodist faith, a homemaker, born on September 2, 1924 in Vanceburg, KY to her late parents Hanson and Maggie Stacey Sapp. Mrs. Hamlin is preceded in death by her husband Grimes Harrison Hamlin and sons Kevin Brent Hamlin and Joe Hamlin. Survivors include daughters and son-in-law Tawana Hamlin of Ellijay, GA., Jill and Doug Haynes of Ellijay, GA., sons and daughters-in-law Rick and Margaret Hamlin of Ellijay, GA., D.G. Hamlin of Ellijay, GA., Sharon Hamlin of Acworth, GA., grandchildren Billy Hamlin, Tara Hamlin, Jared Haynes, great grandchild Aiden Hamlin, sisters and brother-in-law Thelma Gulley of Flemingsburg, KY., Wanda and Ken Evans of Black Oak, KY., Brooks Sexton of Minford, OH, brother and sisters-in-law Ken and Kay Sapp of Ractorville, KY., June Cooper of Muses Mill, KY and Martha Sapp of Cincinnati, OH. Funeral services will be 12:00 noon Saturday, November 28th, 2009 from the Dickerson Funeral Home Chapel in Vanceburg, KY. Interment will follow in the Mount Tabor Cemetery, Rybolt, KY.
